The purpose of this policy is to inform users about the processing of their personal data by the e-learning platform SuperGrid Institute - Learning Environment.

The consent of each user is required on first login and after any significant change to this policy.

This is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The learning environment and the virtual library are spaces that have been created and are managed by SuperGrid Institute, hosted on its website. These platforms facilitate networking between its employees and future partners.

The tools published in these spaces are only accessible to users who have been invites by SuperGrid Institute to create and complete their profile.

Access to these spaces may be suspended, particularly for maintenance and updates. SuperGrid Institute is not responsible for any consequences that may arise for the user.

Privacy and personal data

SuperGrid Institute respects your privacy. If you want to access to our online training platform collaborate.supergrid-institute.com  we need to collect and store some of your personal data.

What personal data are we collecting?

For access to the e-learning platform collaborate.supergrid-institute.com,we collect the basic profile information used to create your account, i.e. your full name, email address.

When you use this website, information about the users, courses, activities and resources you interact with will also be stored and linked with your profile information.

How are my personal data used?

Your personal data are only used to enable access to the online courses collaborate.supergrid-institute.com. Statistics on your use of the website are also used by your trainers to monitor your training.

Emails sent by the platform to users go through the "Mailjet" platform, which acts as a trusted third party for better message distribution.

The above-mentioned processing operations may include the collection, recording, structuring, storage, modification, extraction, archiving, consultation or use of personal data.

SuperGrid Institute undertakes to comply with its obligations as data controller, in particular concerning confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, of 27 April 2016.

Unless you have given your prior consent, data may be stored for a period of two (2) years after your last connection to collaborate.supergrid-institute.com.

How can I withdraw my consent for the processing of my personal data?

If you have previously given your consent for SuperGrid Institute to store and process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and you wish to withdraw your consent, you can contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@supergrid-institute.com. You will then no longer be able to access the services provided by collaborate.supergrid-institute.com.

How can I exercise my rights under Articles 15 to 21 of the EU Regulation?
